What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

Initially invested to have for use in retirement.

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

Found through a friend.

How did you finance this deal?

Standard financing FHA 10% down.

How did you add value to the deal?

Was rent ready when we bought it. We changed some furniture and did some minor redecorating.

What was the outcome?

It is an awesome short term rental.

Lessons learned? Challenges?

Wish we would have worked harder at marketing it when we first bought it. We are now just starting to dig in on the marketing as we are watching the profit really increase.

Did you work with any real estate professionals (agents, lenders, etc.) that you'd recommend to others?

No, real estate attorney only.
