From an economists perspective, a good rule of thumb is to compare your real estate investments against the risk free rate of return which is typically Treasuries or 10 year T-Bond.

Looka t Vanguard and Fidelity (2 largest) I'm sure they have humans making decisions on 99.9% of their buys.factored into the final sale price (consciously or not).

I predict a dip or atleast sideways d/t decreasing home sales and increasing inventory.

Don t expect a senior staff member to service your account if they oversee hundreds of accounts.You need to be able to get service from someone on a timely basis.Ask what kind of ongoing education they provide to keep you updated on IRS regulation changes.
