I'm wondering if the BP community can give me some insights on how the news on these developments has impacted the general real estate scene in Austin, especially the surrounding areas of these projects?

International contraction hurts our international trophy property cities at the high end, COVID and the remote office revolution has already had a few major impacts on office space—top tier companies bailing on high rent leases before ever moving in—which trickle down to the local areas surrounding those commercial centers.

I agree, if there is a market to occupy your Units, then I wouldn't worry much about the surrounding Condos. 

I’m starting to see some deals coming on the market depending on what you’re looking for in both Bethlehem and surrounding areas.

Typically the stairs to the basement are less of an issue because there is commonly a 2nd exit to the basement for which the owner can use to get in furniture, fixtures, etc; however, if it is to a finished attic space, it may be of more value to really make the space feel more connected and usable.If you do decide to rebuild the stairs, there can be some difficulties making them meet code, and would likely cause an impact to the surrounding spaces.

However, it is undeniable that this city and surrounding cities will see a rise in equity whether the economy holds or crashes since people are coming here in either scenario.

I hired a handyman once upon a time @ ~$30/hr for a minor bathroom job, remove tub and surround. 6 hours later he called and had been trying to get the drain out for the entire day.
