Then it begins to play the gamble of how many months does it take for the bank to foreclose on the asset and how many months of rent can you collect in the mean time. 

One of my customers at my work came in playing at my table and have told me that the first one would probably be the hardest then after that, it would be easier to maintain more later on.

Unless you live right next to this place, I think your hunch that you are getting in over your head with this property is dead-on (your title for this thread).

But when I fly my plane into BC I never even get checked.. just call a number write a little number on a piece of paper and stick it on the planes glare shield.. so anyone can get into Canada pretty easy via light aircraft.. now going the other way that's a different story... count yourself lucky if you get to live and play in the Oakanagon
