I wish it was feasible, but my wife's and my job are here.

I'm likely going to move back in with my parents (who are closer to a new job I'm taking/so I can write off 100% of the home as a rental). 

I'd say that after the job is completed, I might need to revisit the project to make additional minor repairs to the garage, and the money is intended also for electricity needed for the minor repairs, if they ever come up. 

On the job training works for me.  :-)

We tested the management by having someone call to schedule an appointment. 

As part of my job as a broker, I take the time to consult with them and advise on the best path they can follow to narrow down their scope based on their situation.

I've thought about possibly putting it into my name and refinancing and then renting, however I am a fulltime nanny with a weekend job as well.

This is an option for some who are really really short on time... but if you are I would question what you are doing with your time (maybe you should buckle down at your day job and pony up for a 50K+ passive investment with way more returns).

Their personal interest is self-preservation and job security.
