There is a roofing guy owed money but he isn't going to lien us because he is owed from other jobs from this builder so is suing him.

It seems most of the bigger roofing companies make all their money on insurance jobs charging $400-$500 a square which would be ridiculous for an investor to pay. 

Are there any MTR operators on BP forum who can share their experiences or give some advice about how a studio or 1BR/BA would work for MTR in this area.

@Chris Papa, if you're going to be investing with a partner, it's definitely money well spent to hire a good attorney to form your entity and draft your operating agreement or otherwise memorialize the economic arrangement between you and your partner.
