Personally, I think it’s too much of a hot button issue.

It helped that I worked as an estimator for a local residential custom home builder for a while.

But that guy had problems, left him and started working for a Custom Luxury Home builder in Dallas, where I got to see a lot of really cool homes. but I never felt like I was REALLY doing anything, just fetching tools and riding along for the most part.

And used a moisture meter on framing to know when dry enough to button back up.

But a lot of times the best move is just for the  buyer's agent to hit up the listing agent and find the seller's pain points, and customize the offer to that.

Likewise a call to any of the local news stations investigative reporters.A TV news story about a real estate investor screwing the proverbial little old lady (no offense intended) will get a lot of eyeballs.I don't know that you'll have much success going after the contractors as you were not their customer. 

Granted those pics aren't super-high res, but the place looks cute as a button.

They usually have the best installation prices and as long as the material isn't overpriced (remember, you have to buy all HD material for them to install),  you should walk away a happy customer. 

I talked to some people that house IRA's and 401K's yesterday and they believe their customers are severely impacted by this bill.
