As we get closer to the holidays and ending the year it will be upon us before we know it, I hope to continue to network and meet more like minded people. 

My math told me a quick sale at $400k would net me within $5-15k of what I'd net doing a master suite addition if values continued to trend flat/down. 

So, all that to say, we are looking for some innovative ways to market and will continue with VRBO, but would also like to open up possibilities for other ways of finding renters.Thanks for weighing in! 

Ask them what their plans are, if they want to continue renting, etc, etc.  

First thing you need to do before you make any decision sis spend the time necessary to educate yourself on finances, investing and income properties.

I am in the process of educating myself in the “real estate investing game”.

I get lots of free education from searching out podcasts on different subjects of interest. 

There are recurring fees and ongoing education that must be paid for and met so getting a license is no walk in the park.

The education I received through the podcast was invaluable in giving me the knowledge and confidence to do the first deal.

Continue to repeat flips by reinvesting original partner's cash and profits into each subsequent deal(s) until you have your own seed money ($10k, $20k,...?).
