Grown-ups expect them, and will often offer something in return to the party they have offended, in whatever way that may be.But, for someone to expect to be able to offend someone in whatever way, without any consequence, is immature at best.It's right and proper to expect grown ups to act like grown ups, and to honor their grown up contracts and grown up consequences for breaking those contracts.Expecting less, is to treat someone like a child, and to consider yourself their disrespected parental doormat.
