I haven’t used them myself yet so I can’t recommend them personally, but they were recommended to me and I’m in a similar situation to you so I’m researching all my options. 

awesome input guys but like Ray says . if he knew what he knows he would have paid 50k more . but the thing is mine is not that similar in price.

@Mark Abbott if this is like the process here in Pittsburgh and its similar to whats called the "Sheriffs Sale" then you will need to wait for the deed to be recorded.

I had a similar mindset as you and in trying to think through achieving the scale I wanted I realized the cash for DPs was incredible.

In addition to the checklist, I would also request the following:1) background/credit check, similar to tenant screening (need advise on application to use)2) pre approval letter from bank used for refinancing3) referral from current lender and past lenders (not sure if this is typical?)

To add on to previous posts, if you would like just a broad overview of the business and to look at a little more detailed introduction (Probably similar to the things you will learn at a seminar that costs) you can use youtube.

So let's say that after you leave the office you go to five other properties and find out what they are getting for their units of similar size and upgrades.
