If you do not you will need an egress window which will cost a good bit as it requires cutting a big hole in the foundation and forming an egress space on the outside of the window to open up a casement window.

I have seen cases that were thrown out where there were holes in the walls and the place was filled with the tenants garbage.

Most tenants are difficult to collect from and most bad tenant debt never gets repaid.The worse thing is that it allows for additional denial by the tenant which in turn means they dig a deeper hole for themselves financially.
