So... it seems to me that even if you eat the 14% the guest are still going to try to compare your rent (which in this case will be higher) to the rent of others and they will mentally ignore the fact that you are covering the booking fee, because they will not be aware that there might actually be a booking fee.

Airbnb is now charging a guest fee of up to 20% (plus VAT) This is on top of the host fee of 3% - 5% A WHOPPING 25% take rate.Things are getting out of hand.As sure as eggs is eggs the Homeaway group will start chasing this figure in an, "if they can charge this, so can we" mentality.
