@Patrick Liska good point, I would plan to make my purchase contingent on having a tenant-buyer signed to a lease before closing.

My program doesn't require the long, tedious process but supposedly there are contingency funds to be claimed by landlords out any rent monies lost during the inspection lag.I'm posting here because so few landlords know the law has changed.

If you haven't used Roofstock you should know the PSA is very different than the average purchase agreement and locks the house in as-is and with no contingencies including financing. 

I was under the impression that you could only back out related to stated contingencies, such as if an inspection found something that significantly devalued the property, etc.?

Contingencies, closing times. 

Different areas require different inspections; timelines differ, contingencies may be different than what you are used to, who typically pays ofr title, termite, etc. 

Get a discount on the price, and keep the contingency.

I have nearly all my contingencies met by the motivated sellers.

The people that are buying are house have a contingency offer on their house that has to be met by 12-18-2018. 

Need a contingency plan on tenants.
