Here’s the update:We are reducing service fees to $999/loan for our Pro customers effective April 1st.We will rebate any fees collected over the past week in excess of that amount back to you as a credit on your next loan.

(Base salary + 1% of collected jobs = Pay).  

Do I have any obligation to my tenants as the landlord or are debt collectors protected by the Fair Debt Collection Act?

Also, if he's doing a good job, he should be collecting a decent portion of the rents, at least in April.

@Tyler CagliaI have a management account (LLC) collects rents and pays bills.  

Therefore this trend will be more individual defaulters, rather than a collective community organizing.  

Alternative to me would be like commodities (gold), collectibles, peer2peer lending or even hard money lending.  

I guess if a tenant decides to pay One dollar ($1) a month for the next 12 months, the landlord gets to collect a whole $12 for the year of income.LA is out of control with the backlash against landlords.

Obviously I'm not a lawyer or law enforcement expert, but I think that this gives us cover to travel to collect rent payments, perform property maintenance, show our rentals to perspective tenants, etc.  

I would add that you may want to look into a service like Cozy for rent collection.
