The biggest reason people don't use an agent is because they want to save money.  

I'm trying to identify a good area with reasonable multi-family inventory - are you finding a higher concentration of multifamily in a given area?  

Houston is the 4th largest city in the US for a reason...jobs...and jobs are not going to go anywhere until alternative fuels have been found!

Most of the SFH for rent with decent looking yards around here the landlord pays for lawn maintenance (or lawn maintenance "included" with rent if that's how you want to look at it) for exactly this reason.  

Time is worth something, time is more valuable than money, it is just one of those things that we all know but for some reason newbies ignore too. 

Are you really willing to move simply for that reason?
