But that's your call.With smart phones pictures are free and easy, ask them to take a shot standing on the front door looking across  the street, then on the curb looking right and looking left down the "street scene" as appraisers call it.Ask them in include "what drew their attention to the property". 

We have pictures hanging in every room, towels on towel hangars, tp, soap dishes, silk flowers in the kitchen and bathrooms, plug in scents on super low, etc, etc, etc...

When my repair guys go the fix the deferred maintenance I have them do a walk through inspection with pictures just as if the tenants just moved in.
