Got a call from a lady who inherited a house.

So I went up to the office and told the ladies (there were no agents in that office) that I would pay them a referral fee of $1000 if they had someone come in that wanted to buy a condo before they could finish one out.

I did something similar with a lady out in NC that called me because of a similar post I made here regarding Fortune Builders.

They do the same thing.I can't remember what show it was or what station, but last year, I watched some crap on RE and this lady was saying things that made no sense at all to anyone who is "in the know".I think these news stations need to check out BP and get some real investors who know what the hell they are talking about.

The reason I ask is that I am a 62 year-old white lady who routinely pokes around properties that are for sale in predominantly black neighborhoods, without any of the paperwork this man had.

I just closed on a house and the lady got my mail over a year ago.

On Wednesday I got three calls.The first was from a very nice lady to tell me that there was no house at the address I asked about - just an empty lot (Note to self: do better filtering in listsource).The 2nd call was from another investor.

So far I've received 10 calls from people wanting discuss selling. 9 have been other investors who "might sell if the price is right" and the 10th was a nice lady who had a house rented out to her kids.

this lady says "was wondering if it was possible for you to put into the contract that you will be paying off the back taxes on the house and the levy"how do i add this into the contract?

That response involved a lady yelling and cussing at me, telling me I was a vulture.
