I was a buyer ... and I had way to much to lose to risk getting caught I bid to my max bid won it or not.. there was one lady that I came to not car for she was the wife of a dentist.. it was her habit to do this. 

I expect him to go back to old habits when we discuss this but one thing is for sure, I'm staying calm and cool no matter what.

I'm also closing on a 6-plex in 2 weeks, so I want to get out of any habits I may have of just letting things slide simply because my tenants are in the same building as me.

@Reza Tashakori Right, by terraced I mean your "basement" is any habitable space beneath the main floor of the house, but the basement can have a pretty amazing view / deck depending on how it fits on the site.
