.-  Lower price houses require less capital, which often means less risk/stress.-  FHA will finance under $200K in any area, so you have a pool of FHA buyers that you may not have at higher price points.

As for more investments before you go abroad that depends on your downpayment abilities (investments require 20%), the amount of debt/ stress you want and your long term plans.

I was a stress monkey and in retrospect annoyed the hell out of the promoter that exposed me to that deal.It was also a terrific learning experience, and we built a really cool 3/2 that is now about 5 years old. 

I love real estate but sometimes the stress can be overwhelming.

Am I right in thinking that I can get a better return for my money by investing in projects on ifunding  rather than getting involved in the stress and uncertainty of developing my lots.
