I'm sure as an insurance adjuster you've been pretty busy with the recent hail storm. :)

I'd have to say real estate investing was a bumpy ride for me because I have no one to ask or support.

I would suggest at least riding by the home so that you can see how the neighborhood held up and if there's any clear signs of damage.

Well if you want to raise the rent sooner you can push the issue of the dog since it is technically a breach of the lease but common sense says just ride it out and let them leave when the lease is over as long as they are taking care of the place and paying on time.

If rents hold you have long term debt and can probably ride out the cycle without selling.

One of our elementary schools back then was actually IN pennsylvania because it was just over stateline road on the west hill- that everyone knows is the best for sled riding!

No one thinks about the tourists in the taxis that spend 80$ on what should have been an 18$ ride and the working class people stuck on the cross town busses being made late to work... and when they shut down the Brooklyn bridge the traffic backs up across the bridge on the brooklyn queens expressway causing headaches for tons of truck drivers who just want to get there trucks back to the lot and get on the train to go home... 

Or are we just riding an amazing market off a bottom?

Never underestimate a simple stroll or bike ride through neighborhoods.
