I think much depends on the market; for example, I'm not a huge fan of regulation, but my local market is virtually unregulated in regards to contractors, which tends to create a very "buyer beware" atmosphere.

(find them here)- If you find someone local who you think you'd be able to learn from, invite them out for coffee and ask them if you had a deal whether or not you could bring it to them and give them a large share of the profits (like 60/40) if they are willing to help you through any areas that you're stuck on.

Paying heat in Ohio is an invitation to disaster and I won't buy buildings that have owner-paid gas or electric, unless the utilities can be split and the purchase price is adjusted accordingly.Mike

They actually presented the same options to me as I did to you, as ways to help your tenants:- Invite potential tenants to your office to fill out the form (on your computers)- Let them know that they can fill it out at the library.- Have them see if they have friends/neighbors with online access or a smart phone.I wish there was a better answer here.
