@John WhiteWho was taking the deductions during that time period and what percentageNot a cpa but if you were taking the deductions / 80% of them I think it’s a tough fight to try and reapportion it.

The city of Mobile was getting out of hand, fought code enforcement and won, but just was not worth the risk of them starting fighting investors with a different approach.  

I owe these forums 99% credit for the success that I've had in real estate over the past 7 years, mostly because of the original ideas that come from the investors' personal experiences fighting in the trenches.

I know Weeks & Irvine does a lot of creative finance closings, but I will warn that there has been a tremendous rash of bad operators trying to pull off really sloppy creative finance deals lately.
