So me and my brother recently got our first deal in November.

Consider this - if not paying say $5k a year taxes would allow you to escape "wasting" $2k a month on rent and allowing you to ultimately own a cash flowing rental property, would that be a good return on investment?

It will be hard to escape rising housing costs.

I have very little real estate experience learned about bigger pockets from my brother who is a real estate agent in Alaska.

In late 2017 my brother was offered to purchase a house from his wife's family for them to live in for about half of what it was appraised for.
