It took me less than 5 minutes to find out the owner's name and that the house was actually listed for sale on 9/13/14 for $179,900.The Craigslist ad listed a phone number which I called out of curiosity.

Calling the town and/or talking to neighbors may shed some light (even if it has to be over the phone).  

I'm hesitant on hiring a VA to do this, because the money is made on the phone.

Hi Rob,I actually did further research back then and called on the phone and asked many questions.There is a student program that you buy in for that is not cheap and if you do that they give support.

I very rarely get in my car after a lease up - I make phone calls and every person I use for repairs gives me a progress report.If you already have property management experience, why buy the franchise?

@Joe Gore   I think we will start calling you the NOTE WHISPERER  your the only one on the forums who can pick up the phone and talk to all these banks in all these different markets and get a heads up on notes coming on the market...

Every time I turn around I am either paying my dues again, or for my Supra key, or CE hours, then there is sign costs, bus cards, magnets, GAS, insurance, phone bill, stamps, stationary, you get my point.

Ive been trying to get into some homes Im interested in, but am having a tough time getting a Realtor to answer the phone, call back in a timely manner, or be willing to drive across town to show me their listing.
