The uncle refinanced the home and their is a lien against it for $23,000 by the finance company who are putting pressure on the cousins fiancé to catch up the late payments and on my husband and I to assume the loan for the next 10 years in his deceased uncles name to preserve his credit!

The property has a few items that require attention including:Exposed wiring in the atticInsufficient amount of insulation in the attic (6in. versus recommended 18in.)The fact that there's a water heater in the attic (not disclosed anywhere in the home inspection)The bathtub faucet's water pressure diminishes to nearly nothing due after only a few seconds of it being onThe issues amount to roughly $2,000, but I'd like to seek out recourse given these issues should have been discovered during the home inspection.

While 1911 is not terribly old at this end of the country, in Saskatoon it must be among the older houses in-town.When you say it has been renovated, has the building envelope been insulated and air-sealed?  

I suggested he spend the $5-$10 to have it sent second day air or an eviction would be filed on the 6th day.

Also, Tinker Air Force Base brings action to the areas, so there's a decent amount of commercial activity and a lot of jobs, which drives people to want to live there more!
