I have had mentors throughout pretty much my entire adult life.

He will be living in one unit and renting out the other 3 to cover just about the entire mortgage (House Hacking)....I recommend fully taking advantage of your VA loan and location before entertaining other markets.  

It is typical of building departments to allow 2 people (babies or adults does not matter) PLUS one, per bedroom.

I look in other places and run the numbers just to entertain the thought, but I just need some experience under my belt first...I think.

We rent the Units for $400-$500 based on if they receive assistance or amount of adults. 

Hopefully, that's one adult child, who has the original will, and is cooperative with your plans. 

Does anyone have any recommendations for areas that I should consider that aren't ridiculously far from DFW airport but carry a little more entertainment value than Euless?
