I've also spent $800 on a bankruptcy attorney to make sure my rights under the note are protected and to file a "transfer of claim" from the previous servicer, who initiated legal proceedings once the borrower started down bankruptcy road.My legal costs are governed by government guide lines and will not exceed the $1k, and the $800.I've hired Madison Management to service my note.

You should easily be able to find what they have been in recent years within local government records or possibly realtor.com, zillow.com, etc.

I suppose they're coined "commercial loans" because they're more business purpose in nature and funded by private institutions not backed by the government sponsored entities.

Just that there will always be haters to every project, no matter how well-intentioned it is. 4 - I can get on board with trying to create some kind of incentive for banks/developers/governments to provide some kind of subsidy to fund affordable housing or rehabbing existing buildings but thats easier said than done.

@Joe Muchel if your property recently got put into a flood map: AE flood zone I would strongly recommend that you take advantage of the government subsidy that you can get when a property is moved from a flood zone X to an AE.
