Using @Bob Malecki's response as an example, which I like Bob, he is a great guy, but the only one to respond thus far, tax monitoring is a service offered in all full service platforms for around $5 per loan.  

Or hard money lending funds, again double digit returns and regular "cash flow".

Because it is a lien, not a loan, the sellers of these products are not required to play by the same rules (such as disclosure) as regular lenders.

DO NOT deal with any regular agents or you will have lumps on your head.

I had a 401k that I rolled into an existing regular IRA until I found my SDIRA company and then transferred from the regular IRA to the SDIRA.

Also I don't plan on becoming a contractor although I do plan to act as a project manager for the projects the contractors are working on in my future investments I plan on only monitoring, ensuring they have the supplies, and ensuring quality in the work of the contractors that I choose to work with in the future.
