Oh the humanity!!

One of the biggest maintenance problems are body oils, hairspray & soap residue in guests swimsuits causing foaming.

The neighbor, who was there first and has a right to quiet enjoyment of their property, just has to make a complaint about the vacation rental next door and the local governing body can decide overnight that vacation rentals are commercial businesses which shouldn’t be allowed in residential areas, like so many other places have already determined, and poof now the issues between these two neighbors have ruined it for everybody else.

Is any body in here investing in the west Lafayette and Lafayette area ?

You can apply on our site, sign the lease digitally, pay your deposit via the tenant portal, etc.But when it comes to actually viewing the unit, I don't know how to avoid the human component.   

@Frank Salgado If you’re in a low lying area near a big body of water or river even though you’re not in a flood zone it might be worth considering the cost benefits of it.

One critical element is understanding the human factor.

If they dont vacate the sheriffs will come and you have to provide three able body people to move all their stuff to the street.

Human beings will adapt and figure out a way to make money on real estate.   

They tend to be a bit like comets in the sky locally as there’s no real regulations or governing body.
