I should start off by saying that I work for a large commercial real estate investment firm and they have given me the task of setting up an incentive plan for employees of our firm to partake in some of their real estate investments.

I agreed, he hugged me as I laid in bed on pain meds and then he left.Fast forward to two days later when I'm checking our employees work (we had an employee from the UAE working 40hr/week for us making phone calls on multi-family properties in-town) Let it be known I didn't have my phone the entire time I was in the hospital as it was stolen and wasn't allowed visitors due to COVID.

With many technology employers allowing their employees to work from home, those employees can move out of their Bay Area rental and purchase a long term investment in the Sacramento area.

I usually could schedule two employees and any contract work in less than an hour every morning.

Thanks @Bill Exeter and @Dave Foster for this great insight. 

If companies continue to decentralize their workforce, I can imagine more employees opting to live in areas that historically don't have strong job markets but are still cheap and offer more than Raleigh. 

Have S Corp also with wife/self as ONLY employees.
