Newbie Investor in the Sacramento Area.

Aloha, first I'd like to thank the team at Biggerpockets, incredible content, thank you so much for all that you do. I have been fueling my fire this past month, listening to podcasts, talking to local investors, and doing my duediligence (nerding out) on everything about investing that can find. I am in the Sacramento area, and plan to stay in my general area to buy and hold properties. I am of course open to any type of investing that can help me get my foot in the door. I would LOVE to connect with anyone worldwide that would like to share any helpful tips and tricks for a new investor. If you are in the Sacramento area, please contact me anytime! A little background about me, I am 30 years old, I moved with my family back to my hometown of Sacramento from Hawaii 2 months ago. I was working with a good family friend of ours doing some Contracting work, and when I was ripping out drywall I thought to myself I really don't want to be doing this anymore. I've worked since I was 15 years old and climbed to the top of every business that I've ever worked for, I am an extremely hard worker and generally love what I do. I would just love to see my hard work pay off with income that I can use to support my growing family. I want to finally be financially free! I am extremely motivated and I cannot wait to get started investing in real estate. Like other newbies, I feel like getting started is the hardest part. If anyone has any advice you'd be willing to share with me please contact me and we can set up a zoom meeting. I'd love to hear all of your input big or small. Once again thank you very much Joshua Dorkin, Brandon Turner, and everyone else that helps the BiggerPockets Community Grow. I'll be looking forward to talking to you all! Aloha, Steven Rath.
