Definitely research the laws, but what I understand from it is that you are NOT required to permit service animals in STRs IF you meet certain criteria, namely that you own fewer than (I think 3?)

Moreover, if you are in a lower income area, definitely not.

I will definitely pass on the various options to her and let her know she can do it if she is creative.

Definitely don't let months go by. 

@John Lee  FL to NYC is only a few hours for a flight, and I would definitely go up there to take a look, I believe it's well worth the investment.

Definitely get your own title insurance, although it will cost a bit more.
