Understand that although larger repairs might involve more steps, more time and more tools, houses are just collections of parts and you'd be amazed how much can actually be fixed with five minutes and a screwdriver.

Chicago gets a lot of bad hype, but personally, it's been an amazing market for me to invest in.I think by far the most important thing to consider when buying property is setting up the right team which should include but not limited to a solid broker, lender, contractor, and property manager.
