Most brokers have a referral agency that is separate, but works with their primary brokerage.

For example, if you are doing an agency deal then net worth equal to loan amount or greater is a requirement. 

The rehab is a place where a lot of investors can go wrong so that knowledge and experience is invaluable. 

I am going to start a significant remodel of my house in Santa Monica and wanted to maximize all possible rebates, grants or energy rebates that are available for new roofs, windows, appliances, insulation, landscaping..ect.I have a basic list (local municipality and appliance rebates) but didn't know if there was anything that I was missing or didn't know about...possibly other agencies?

In return ask if you can some how help fill the dumpster, paint, what ever it takes to help and exchange labor for knowledge.

I think the Financial Knowledge & Empowerment Plan is working so far.I'll find out in a few years if my approach worked as my oldest is in high school now and should be making his own way in the world in 7 or 8 years.

All the equipment and knowledge are there to do those extraction and quality control.

Im looking to sponge as much knowledge as possible, with one of my strongest assets is my work ethic.
