I called my local section 8 office and told the lady that answered the phone that i have a home that i would like to rent out to section 8 and wanted information, i was asked to hold, transferred to a recorded line where if i wanted info about renting to section 8 to leave my name and address and in about a week they will send me information. needles to say i was not impressed as i need hand holding for my first section 8 also the home will need 2-4k of work to get it up to there standards from what i read i have no issue with that except if i can repair over time as i collect some rent i will not have to rack up credit card charges.now onto my thoughts about someone on probation/parole:it's a 3BR so they most likely will have a family, which helps with a person being more stable. since they have a record with the police that are limited on where they can rent thus making for a long term renter that would most likely take care of the place as they would not want to be having a hard time again searching for a home to live.

I personally had the police laugh at me back in 2006 when my car broke down. 3 tow companies either not come or just drive by.

However, what if a police officer was renting and had a police dog GSD, Would that change anything? 

Had to call the police on her last weekend, came to my place beligirent and drunk 2 nights in a row.

Albeit the entire population was held in check by the Savak (secret police).

Most days F. and M. get along well, but there are occasionally loud arguments and fisticuffs around 11:00 pm or midnight, and on 2 occasions now, the police have intervened.As of Monday the 21st, F. told the Justice of the Peace that M. had moved out, following a posted Notice to Vacate the week before, which was done on mutual agreement between F. and myself.On Christmas Eve, I noticed F. and M. entering the property together.

All occupied units , but mo. to mo. for 3 of 4 tenants.I also found a police call from 3 months ago for drugs on the police blotter that gives me further pause.
