Has anyone sought out people on parole/probation as renters?

i just purchased my first 2 investment homes both 3br 2ba avg. 1400sq ft each.

I'm thinking about contacting the state probation office to find my renters as i will look for an older first time offender.

since they have such a hard time renting my thought is that this would make for a long term renter plus i would be able to get 50.00-100.00 a month more on each home in rent.

please share your thoughts

What kind of convict are you targeting, sex offender? Rapist? Murderer? Tax evader? Id only consider renting to sex offenders, like a teacher who had sex with her student, dont see why her love for teens would make her default on her rent.
