Hi BP,I am thinking of getting my real estate license sometime next year and was wondering if any veterans out there know if you can use any sort of GI Bill/other benefits to pay for the costs associated with getting your license?

My wife and I are both military veterans wishing we had stayed in long enough to retire.

I think where the breakdown is happening is that a lot of newbie's and even some veterans have forgotten that they are wholesalers and with out us investors they become agents.

I work for the Veteran Affairs and have never heard a Veteran talk about using the VA loan this way!

As a 25+ year veteran on the CRE side and an entrepreneur of CRE brokerages that have recruited 100's of brokers/agents understand not all, not nearly even many, operate in such flagrant dishonest manner.There are many many ethical and trustful agents/brokers who care deeply about what they do, and equally or more important how they go about doing it.

If it were me, and take this with a grain of salt because I'm no veteran, if you can eat a little less cash flow, I would ask less for rent for the possibility of a better quality tenant.

I wonder if this a market-niche that has been overlooked, especially considering the needs of the many returning veterans and their families, along with the many other folk encountering life challenges in their home. 

I am a professional photographer and a videographer, are those skills needed very much in this field?

Once I knew that (a) his office is about 5 minutes from our house and (b) he is a fellow Navy veteran, he would have needed to really be an *** on the phone to make me not like him.
