Hi BP community, I'm a junior studying engineering and I'm starting to strategize for my first house-hack, and I hope to pull the trigger in about 12-18 months.

I listened to a lot of advice from people on BP and other investors to "acquire doors and cash flow" and I've been losing money on what was supposed to cash flow from my Class C Indianapolis rentals.  

I need advice on an opportunity out of my scope, but the numbers warrant a look. 

Any advice on Landlord insurance for rental properties.

(Rental loss = repairs or renovations exceeding rental income) If you are a high earner, you generally want to get advice from a CPA that understands real estate income & taxes, but here's a few thoughts:1.

I will wait until we've held the lot for at least 1 year to avoid additional taxes owed per my CPA's advice.

I would love any advice or suggestions you have about building a hostel since you have done this already.

Looking to either get advice on using the TREC contract, or getting a new contract drafted.
