I like those as I do not have to be at a specific physical location for the training.They did some classes at Wharton in PA I went to last year and that was fun for sure.

Since I'm not in close proximity to any hospitals or financial institutions, I am not sure if the hassle is worth it for me.

Its one thing to know that the cash value is growing by more than enough to offset the loan interest, but its quite another to have the physical cash to make the interest payments.

What I gather from that was I could not rent it out without being physical present.

But if we want to get closer to our ultimate goal, we have to make some sacrifices.The main reason i am looking for something closer to my job is due to working a 12-14hr shift multiple days in a row, the physical demanding side of things causes you to become exhausted at the end of the shift to the point that i have found myself having to pull off the road to wake up on the long ride home that i currently drive, plus the fuel expense adds up over time when you drive 70 miles round trip each day you work...

Along side the Architect would be a Civil engineer (very important in the beginning for site development, bring utilities onto the site and dealing with proper drainage), geotechnical engineer (for soil testing and borings which will help inform the structural engineer on what the land can physically support), structural engineer (for foundation design and code required bracing and support systems within your building), and a bunch more.
