do tenants get an exception when they apply for the occupancy permit?

Hello BP Family,I am in escrow for a SFR that has a permitted 432 sq ft ADU on it already.

Ask the standard questions: age of the home, size of the home and lot, number of beds, baths, is there a garage (attached or detached), any recent renos (were they inspected or permitted), how much of the space is finished, etc.

I also run a website with a bunch of free information and resources for laundromat owners and prospective laundromat owners.

I also will remove them if the tenant prospect indicates they have their own, rent is not reduced. 

Most aren't going to provide free, fact specific advice to a prospect, and the ones that do...the advice is worth exactly what you paid for it.

Hi @Marc Anthony,Very helpful question you raised, seeing as there's so much incentive to work with all prospective clients and disregard red flags.

Throughout my search I was interested in finding a property that had a larger detatched garage or an ADU already permitted on the property.
