Hello all, Let me introduce myself: I'm an EU citizen currently living in Valencia, Spain and thinking about doing a fix & flip in the city.

The unit was wrecked but I was sold a rehab project that would be much more expensive so that the unit could be converted into a bigger living space; the idea being that we could get more rent out of it (close to $1200 vs. $800/mo).The rehab was supposed to take ~ 3mo.

I was planning on living in it while doing the repairs.

But I see that they eliminate your living room and dining room, instead putting in more bedrooms. 

Talking about it while everyone still likes each other can make things easier when someone wants the locks changed.wording:In the event that Tenants decide they no longer want to live together, ___________ will be considered the primary Tenant to make decisions about modifying or terminating tenancy.

Essentially, you live for free for 2 years to build more capital needed without the biggest expense of rent/mortgage payments, as the tenant(s) are basically paying the mortgage for you. 

Me (23 years old) been living here for 9 months now.

People literally believe this and plan their lives and investment approaches around it. 

I would say if you don't know the area, you should check the eviction database for that street to see how often evictions occur, you should check crime on neighborhood scout or some other site, and you should drive by the property late at night and see whether you would feel safe getting out of the car.  

It's a big townhouse, and a couple is living there; I have never had such experience where the tenants ask me to come stop by in such way.
