He said that there's a lot of work that was already done (i.e. demo on the drywall, finding leaking pipes, etc) but because they're not yet finished, the inspector might think it's just simple demo.

Obviously if the roof starts leaking that will need to be replaced, but does the house really need new siding and windows?
