They sound like good people going through a hard time.

As a new agent, you'll be a complete amateur instead of using a seasoned agent who is an expert in negotiations, understands the market, has experience catching problems with properties, etc.A good real estate agent does a lot more than just find houses.

You'd need to really understand the specific neighborhoods and property types to make a good investment.If you do go the out-of-state route, a good property manager will be crucial.

This seems like a potentially profitable strategy given that the factory is supposed to employ 6500 people with good salaries.
