Ask the lender if they can extend the rate lock.

I fear if you try to evict now for a different reason that the courts will think you changed your tune due to the eviction moratorium which has now been extended to July 31st.

If it is on market and you are not buying at a discount, I would ask the seller to extend the date or give you a closing cost credit to help you pay for any possible attorney fees you will incur evicting the tenant.

They extended the inspection by one week which we graciously agreed, leaving us with only 1 week to close and render possession.
