Thinking one can just by a house & be on your way to wealthy with little/no work is for lottery advertisements.

Along the way, I am also looking to develop a network of professionals to be able to grow with and share ideas.The family and I love the Triangle area for the balance of work, play, nature, culture, sports, and the overall warmth of the community.

The upzoning must be purchased by cashing in TDR credits, so this windfall value goes into the pockets of smaller farm and forestland owners, instead of wealthy investors.

I moved about four years from Fort Lauderdale to Birmingham, AL ( culture shock).

My end goal is to be a wealthy real estate investor, however i need a decent career to get started.

We're considered a noteworthy city mainly because of the cultural and historical relevancy of the area.

For other folks out there who may have never moved from their home town and are raring this thread it may be useful to keep in mind.My vote is for Tampa.Vibrant downtown, great university, cosmo city with its own rich history and culture and beautiful beaches.

They were always busy and quiet and very responsible plus I loved the cultural exchange. 

My ultimate goal is to have a portfolio of real estate and be wealthy, but I want to start with a duplex I can live in.
