I'm a semi new home owner now and have been remodeling my house and understanding price points for certain sqf and realizing that alot of the money being consumed is in hiring contractors.

I have been a real estate investor for years and in the last few years since getting my real estate license I have been working mostly with residential consumers.

Now almost 2 months later the buyer is threatening legal action if I do not put 4K in escrow, do I need to even consider this?

Looking to take action and find a property as soon as possible.

If you bought a company - with the assets, liabilities - then you would have the right of collection and the joy of being sued for the actions of the past principals.Doesn't starting day 1 sound a whole lot better!

I offer syndications, but I also offer true partnerships on smaller deals where the investor is more involved.I manage my units now , they're fairly easy , turnaround is low , so i dont consume too much time renting them out . once they are rented , tenants typically stay for a while .

Should there be any uncertainty,talk to a real estate attorney but not taking any kind of action puts you way at the bottom in the learning curve to say the very least. 

@Christian Weber If you don't have other consumer debt or car payments I'd seriously consider the cash-out ReFi.

While I get a LOT of responses, most dont meet my rental qualifications and it can be very time consuming to weed through all the messages. 

Now you just need to focus on education, networking and taking action.
