I would suggest putting in applications to several banks at the same time, this could affect your credit score by a small margin due to the hard inquiries, but you should be able to get approved for all of them at the same time.

You can have as many credit inquiries as you like in a 14 day period as long as they are MORTGAGE related. 

How do you respond to inquiries?

As long as you make it clear to all interested listing inquiries, you should be fine to set the rent price to what you feel comfortable with.
