LOL LOLIf I could say extremely direct way, in tech city like bay area the highly-educated tech immigrant is coming buying these whole homes ; while the supporting tech economy come from not-so-tech-immigrant LOL It's kinda immigrant to immigrant swapping hands LOLAs for  the homeless, the other state export them to the tech city, yes it's kind of strange economy LOLso in summary:(i) The tech economy folks is paying the city by becoming homeowner and landlord, the money comes from stock market and real economy(ii) The immigrant that's supporting tech is paying rent to the tech landlord(iii) The other state is exporting their homeless people to the tech city.

I generally have around 1,000 charges per year at home improvement stores and it's much easier to be able to export my credit card data when tax time comes around vs digging through paper receipts associated with 100's of random gift cards.
