Financial Model Valuation

I am very green and just staring out my real estate career. I am an analyst by trait and like the numbers; but I want to be efficient. I was wondering if anyone has analyzed deals with Coach Carson Spreadsheets? Are these models good are there other sources available? Carsons spreadsheets are very impressive from an excel/vba perspective, but do they effectively valuate properties? Looking for any help and appreciate the feedback!
