Since they are public numbers theres absolutely no protection for us from fraud.When submitting my accord for proof of insurance that goes directly from carrier to customer, not through my hands, unfortunately people have committed fraud with that number too.

I can tell you that their involvement is on the financing side only, as they work with local installer partners on the back end with the installer managing the customer relationship so Mosaic wouldn’t typically interact with the customer directly which might explain the gap in the line of communication.

Banks and institutional servicers are not usually willing to get involved and assist customers and stick to the servicing agreement to the letter to avoid liabilities, and that makes good business sence, but we adminstered deals that were underwritten and failure was not an option!

I’m of the opinion that when my contractor gets there biweekly to mow the lawn is fast enough to change them but we do pride ourselves on good customer relations.
